When you first got born again, you entered into convenant with an eternal Spirit. The Spirit of God who is eternal, who does not forget and who is faithful to his covenant eternally.
From the moment you believed in your heart and confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, the Holy Spirit dwelt within you and from within engrafts the word -which you read and hear into your spirit, because that WORD is that which holds fast and enables you to stay strong till the end to the saving of the soul.
Its no surprise then that the enemy of our soul wages war against our minds, with a barrage of problems and circumstances, challenging and refuting the word, seducing and deceiving with all kinds of lies and deception!
BUT HEAR THIS!
Bible says..."when the enemy comes in, like a flood the Spirit of God raises a standard against him". AND "...as for you, Christ has poured out his Spirit on you. As long as his Spirit remains in you, you do not need anyone to teach you. For his Spirit teaches you about everything, and what he teaches is true, not false. Obey the Spirit's teaching, then, and remain in union with Christ.  Yes, my children, remain in union with him, so that when he appears we may be full of courage and need not hide in shame from him on the Day he comes".

          Faithfull is He who has called you.

Prayer
Dear heavenly father, i give you my heart and soul, preserve me from the lies of the enemy and help me to remain steadfast in you by your power and grace. Amen.

The story of queen Esther - the Jew turned Queen of Persia, is one I have always found quite remarkable (you would find the story in the bible book of Esther). Throughout the whole reality-TV-type drama, (the first scene with the gals all lined up hoping to be selected queen, an ancient episode of The Bachelor, perhaps?), Queen Esther remained focused and clear.   Theres certainly a lot we can learn from her that will guide us as we navigate our own life circumstances, whether dire or humdrum.
