Pearls of Delight

When you first got born again, you entered into convenant with an eternal Spirit. The Spirit of God who is eternal, who does not forget and who is faithful to his covenant eternally. From the moment you believed in your heart and confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, the Holy Spirit dwelt within you and from within engrafts the word -which you read and hear into your spirit, because that WORD is that which holds fast and enables you to stay strong till the end to the saving of the soul. Its no surprise then that the enemy of our soul wages war against our minds, with a barrage of problems and circumstances, challenging and refuting the word, seducing and deceiving with all kinds of lies and deception! He could have parted the waters, but he did not.    Sometimes the tides came up high, other times it was low, I walked, stumbled, waded through each torrent.   When I pleaded with him to part the waters, make it easy, He said to me.. ‘why, but I am right here, with you, in it, You and I, together’.   I remember He had said he would never leave me yet there were times it felt like I struggled alone, wading through the tides with feeble hands and knees that barely held up.   I hear his whisper…’ keep moving, you’re doing just fine, these waters will not drown you, I am here, with you, in it’.
